What we collect

When you create an account: your email address and name. When you use the service: training session notes, client records (dog name, owner name and email), generated reports, and your brand settings. We also collect standard server logs (IP address, browser type) for security and debugging.

How we use it

To provide the service: generating reports, storing client history, sending emails to dog owners on your behalf. To send you sign-in links and account-related notifications. We do not use your data or your clients' data for advertising.

Third parties

We use the following services to operate:

We do not sell your data to any third party.

Owner data

When trainers enter dog owner email addresses, those owners may receive emails from BarkBrief on the trainer's behalf. Owner emails contain a link to view their dog's report history. We retain owner data only as long as the trainer's account is active.

Data retention and deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data directly from your account settings, or by emailing us. Deletion is immediate and permanent.

Security

All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Passwords are not stored — we use email magic links for authentication. Session tokens are cryptographically signed.

Cookies

We use a single HTTP-only session cookie to keep you logged in. No tracking or advertising cookies.
